What do I need to practise suturing at home?
A suture pad that feels like skin, a needle holder, forceps, scissors and sutures with needles. Our complete suture practice kit has all of them in one case: a 3-layer silicone pad with 14 pre-cut wounds, a Hegar needle holder, Adson forceps, suture scissors, five scalpel blades and 24 sutures in sizes 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0.
Who are your practice kits for?
Medical, nursing, dental and veterinary students, and anyone preparing for skills labs or OSCE exams. Besides suture kits, we make injection pads, IV practice arms and arthroscopy trainers.
Which kit should I buy first?
Most students start with the complete kit. If you already have instruments, a spare pad set and a suture refill cost much less. See all suture practice kits and pads.
Can the kits be used on people or animals?
No. Our kits, pads, instruments and sutures are for training on practice pads only and must never be used on people or animals.
